it all depend on you... think of the use of it, and apply it if you think it is needed...

we can't always have answers on things YOU have to evaluate on the usability of your site ya know...

darn, sorry, i posted my reply thinking it was in the design forum... forgive me.. lol

actually, the #top anchor is obsolete now, regarding compliance with W3C... it will not be added to the next protocol due to the fact that all known browsers now manage navigation with the mouse and cursors... and the tag itself is irrelevent to the usability protocols...

Mobile devices and browsers for those with disabilities do not necessarily manage navigation with a mouse and cursor.

It's not about using a mouse, it's mainly because scrolling all the way back up frequently can be a pain.

It has no compliance problems with W3C, and is not obsolete.
