truncated links

I have recently upgraded to vb 3.6.7 pl1.. since doing that my links are now truncating and they will not work with flashget and rapget etc.. is there a way to adjust this

sure.. alot of the links have truncated so that when you copy them and paste them into flashget or rapget etc.. they no longer work. The links are good however. so not sure why this happened once we upgraded. Here is an example


in the text portion where the thread was put together the link looks like this:

http://xxxxxx.com/files/xxxxx/xxxxe.tmx-xxxxx.part1.rar

after it is submitted it looks like tihs

http://xxxxx.com/files/xxxxxx...xxx.part1.rar

these are the same link...


we do have an anon page so you can click on links but alot of people use the copy paste. we use hide tags as well and put the links between them

This is standard vBulletin behaviour, there may be a setting somewhere, but I'm not sure.

can you lead me to where in the admincp you would adjust or disable the xss

You can't "disable" XSS.....XSS is a type of exploit.
