Hey,

This is done in other forums like phpBB, it really wouldnt be hard to just use CSS and images, i cant code it... i think someone should make a mod of this too, but the real question to this thread is, why didnt JelSoft do this in the first place? It would be alot better if they did! You think they will do this in 3.7.x? or 4.x?

Regards, Jay

i think the reason styles don't apply to the AdminCP & ModCP is because Jelsoft felt it's behind the scenes, and for most admins, performance is much more important than asthetics.

Duuuuudddeeee, out of the admin cp, there is a total of 3 images that i have noticed, the catagory headers (2) and the logo.. I hardly think that will consume a few zetabytes of data!

Shazz, code is and you get a virutal cookie :D As i said, im sure its not that hard.. just renaming a few things to tcat, thead, alt1, alt2 and making all pages use the skins CSS. I dont know how to do it but, may the force be with you *hands light sabor*

You can already customize the look and feel of the AdminCP by editing the CSS and images for each style. The system comes with 5 different styles, including one that looks exactly like the default vBulletin 3 style. You can also download styles from this site.

You dont understand me, try phpbb and you will see what i mean, their admincp templating owns vbulletins IMO.
