Nice addittion, but why is there a google advert at the bottom of the error html

Hi Bashy
Your question is about google banner...
Thats added there for YOUR use... add your own adsense info there...
When your mysql is down and the Database error page pops up the probability factor says that some will click on back button and some will click on submit and some will click on google adsense ( fill in your account code ).
Put your own google adsense info in the red below...
google_ad_client = "pub-0000000000000000";
Enjoy the forums;)

Nice Mod, thx,:), but where do we edit the Google code, and add what we like, as I can't see it on the 'staff_submit.php'
Also, am I understanding correct, that once both files are uploaded, that, apart from the email address edit, it's ready to go?
Cheers!

Check the zip 4 the only HTML file ext. and look near the bottom of file, then replace google code with your own ADSENSE code...
There's only three files that really require attention...
staff_submit.php
image_match.php
database_error_page.html
I work several J.O.B's so if I have time I shall update this with more pic choices and other add on stuff...

I've actually just finished edits for the database error message.
This one looks lovely though - A nice modification to have!
Thanx for sharing.
Jacquii.
One question: I see the captcha image verification.
Does this modification mesh with the NoSpam! hack?

Great little mod - I've installed it on my Forum http://jpicforum.info/includes/database_error_page.html
Question though - how do I change the left image? I want it to be a bit more "customized" so I made a different image for the left side...
Thanx -

Actually, this modification is in violation of Google's Adsense Terms of Service:

(v) display any Ad(s), Link(s), or Referral Button(s) on any error page, on any registration or "thank you" page (e.g., a page that thanks a user after he/she has registered with the applicable Web site), on any chat page, in any email, or on any Web page or any Web site that contains any pornographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content ... You acknowledge that any attempted participation or violation of any of the foregoing is a material breach of this Agreement and that we may pursue any and all applicable legal and equitable remedies against You, including an immediate suspension of Your account or termination of this Agreement, and the pursuit of all available civil or criminal remedies.

Yeah I know, it kinda sucks that Google doesn't want Adsense in Error Pages :( ... I think this was just recently added cause if you look at the top of the Terms Of Service Link I posted it says "Updated - We have made revisions to this agreement in the following sections: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15." ... Section 5 is where it now contains the info saying you cant have Adsense in Error Pages ...

DELETED Google ads per users...
Added several more options...
Working on redirect option...
Download new file and read instructions...
Good Luck:)

I have a question, is it possible or does this mod match the vbulletin style used on ones forums? Thats the only thing stopping me from installing this hack.

Majest sir,
this mod doesn't use your default style settings when outputed...
this mod uses vBull's original data_error_page.html file with modifications...
data_error_page.html file only activates when server database is on the blink... { forums cant be accessed }...
styles only work when forums are Alive and kicking... {database error = forums are dead at the moment, until server is back up and running without errors } ...
It is possible 2 modify the look {style} of the data_error_page.html using CSS...
Give it a go :D
