Referral Link Mod

I have looked here and a few other places, but haven't found like a referral link mod. Or something similar at least. So then, instead of having to type in the members name, the new user can follow a link. Like at many of those cash payout sites. www.mylink.com/forums/register.php?r=324

Example. If someone could find this, or if possible, code it for me I would be willing to pay a little bonus for it.

It's built in to vB.

blah.com/register.php?referrer=666 - gives referral credit to userid 666.

I think that's the trigger anyway. Am at work, so either test it yourself, or wait for someone to confirm. :)
