OKay so I keep having this username that shows up in the what going on area. But when I click on the name it just brings me to the top of the page, the name cant be found in a search, it isnt listed in the member list. And i only have 20 members so I would know if I saw this name registered. The wierd thing is my admin account name it Adminogrizzle, and the secret name that keeps registering is named ogrizzle, but its not him.
Here is a pic for reference.

I personally am not sure what could be the cause of this, and it does sound kind of bad. Was that AIM message in the picture in your forum topic really the AIM of this guy? Because it doesn't sound like something pleasant, and you were right, he was not on your members list. Does he have an IP address to research?

How did you make your username be part one color and part another? My guess would be that somehow that code change is causing the second part of your name to be spit out again.... somehow.... I would look at that template. I would love to see the source code of the page when that happens.

remove/double check what ever you put in the admin usergroups "Username HTML Markup" and resave it.

Was it intentional to add the word Admin as a prefix to your username?
What would normally be done would be to just put the colour and text formatting opening statement in the first box like this <i><b><font color="#FF0000"> and then the closing argument in the second box like this </font></b></i>
I have tried adding the prefix on my forum and this doesn't duplicate your ghost member entry, do you have a second user catagory selected for the admin?

NO he is only an admin, and yes it suppost to say Admin before his name. The ghost username only appears everyonce in awhile and then only stays for a couple of seconds.

Well it can't be another user, as two users with the same name cannot exist on the database, it must be a coding aberation, perhaps take a copy of the page source when it happens again.

Have you looked at the "user" table in the database???

I would definitely grab a copy of the page source when it next happens.
From what I read, are you saying that your *actual* username is "ogrizzle", but through the coding you add the "Admin" to the front of it? If that's the case, it sounds like some strange coding thing (or aberation as rolfw1 suggested), except it's strange if you do this same addition of "Admin" to "T2C" and yest his username never shows up without the "Admin" part.
