How do you update a skin?

I just realized that the skin I am using is for 3.6.2. I can download the 3.6.6 version, but how should I upgrade the style? Should I just upload and overwrite all the files with the new ones? Or do I have to also delete the style in the style manager and upload the new XML file?

It's easy! :D
Just compare the versions and open up notepad. (Be sure to look for updated Vbulletin codes, the colors will help you!
Then just move in the code you want to keep and or replace into notepad. (Custom mods, style code, etc.)
Then hit revert.
Edit that template again.
Delete everything.
Put your new code in and save.
Done!
