Hi all,

I have a problem that is really bothering me. I have created rounded corners for my "<!-- user info -->" table using CSS. My CSS is as follows

My issue here is that in FireFox it shows up JUST as I wanted it to, but in IE7 I get these bands/lines repeating above and bellow the user info table, which are not supposed to be there.
Please view the screen-captures.
If anyone could please help I would greatly appreciate it.

why don't you check www.ubuntuforums.org since you 100% copied the style from them with just changing colors.

I didn't 100% copy the style.
A lot of people are using the same CSS method these days.

Even if the styles are similar(which I know they are because I used them for inspiration) people are always creating styles and mods to emulate their favorite software or site.

I have a small request.
This thread was posted to get help. That's what VBulletin.org is about.
I would greatly appreciate it if people with negative attitudes don't turn this thread into that kind of conversation.
WHAT IS THE POINT?
If you have a side comment to make about that part of the conversation it is ok to make, but I would like to primarily get support for my issue.

Anyone can look at a website and get some ideas however in your condition the only change you have from ubuntuforums is the colors. I checked your source also and you 100% copied their code. What i call that is stealing. I know that because it happens to me all the time. People come check my site and try to copy the code.

vBulletin.org is for vBulletin modifications. My personal opinion i will never help a guy who steals someone else's code. There maybe other people who can help you but unfortunately not me.

If you don't respect anybody elses work and directly copy it on your site and claim you are writing a web 2.0 style (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=1251644&postcount=6) ( which 100% prooves you have no knowledge about both web 2.0 and CSS ) then probably you wont get help from anyone else.

Continue copying other people's work. You'll be only a copycat.

I never CLAIMED to be writing a "web2.0" style in that thread. I said I was going to try and create the web2.0 LOOK. I understand that there is a difference between an ACTUAL web2.0 website and a website that just has that look.

What I was doing was exactly what I said I would do. I was going to create the style for my forums.
To me there was no better place to get inspiration from than Ubuntu forums.
I would be disrespecting the people at Ubuntu if I didn't acknowledge that I was inspired by them at all.
Do we not come here at VBulletin.org to use mods that other people have created all the time?
It doesn't matter if I used the same CSS method as they did. They didn't WRITE and create cascading style sheets. This was a widely used method at implementing those rounded corners.
Other people use other sites to help them write code ALL the time.

I DO RESPECT Ubuntu, am a member of the forums and I use thier software.

for any help. If YOU didn't want to help me you could have ignored the thread.

actually, your template is 500% incompatible and not-compliant with any web protocol... you use the <b > tag to create borders, but the <b > tag is a BOLD tag, not BORDER...

it is not to use a "better" solution, but a "real" solution, by changing your <b tag for a <div or a <span, depending on how your CSS is built... THEN you will have something that may be reworked to be compliant and compatible...

oh, and on a second reading, there is NO "Web 2.0" look... that is a urban legend... Web 2 is for accessibility and usability, not design... so it's a logic and a protocol, not a border, bold or highlight thing...:)
