They got into my site and modified the index.php on the public html folder and the index.php on the forum root.
How do I re-upload the previous ones?

Nevermind, I got it taken care of. I realized that only both index.php files were modified because everything else seemed fine. I opened them both and saw the html they had on there.

Im just hoping that by replacing the index.php everything is back to normal and there isnt anything else I should be looking for. Anything else I should keep an eye out for?

Oh, that's ok...thanks...do you like it better there?

I'm sorry to hear your site was hacked...that's just awful.:(

Um, you're not allowing HTML anywhere, are you?

Yeah Blaine is much nicer, I lived near West 7th and Randolph in St.Paul and now I truly value the Suburban life.

Site is back up for now. I just need to find ways to prevent it from happening again :D

:eek::eek: OMG!!! We live just up Randolph...corner of Randolph and Lexington!!! WHOA!! Holy cow...small world!! I'm happy you like it there! We're looking to buy a house in the city...don't like suburban living...we both love this city.:D

I'm glad.:) HTML?

Yeah Im part owner of the company and run a branch in North East Minneapolis. Our other office is in Edina.

My forums are dedicated to brokers nationwide. I got a podcast section up and running that seems to slowly becoming a big hit. It's putting strains on my bandwidth so I might have to outsource the podcasts to another server.

I dont think I have HTML allowed... not sure though!

Randolph and Lexington? Wow that is close, or was close! Small world it is. Thats only a mile away! Yeah I lived accross from the Lucky Foxx bar and grill. The bar fights and all the noise got old REALLY quickly. Had to move, and had to move somewhere much nicer.

Good God...NE Minneapolis! Aren't you afraid going to work in that area?:erm:

Um, yeah, I saw that...didn't realize it's strictly for those IN the business, and I joined...my most sincere apologies. Please delete my account...Mrs. H.

Oh wow! Podcasts...now that's original! Very cool!! Your site is very sharp-looking, BTW. Nice and clean. You've done a great job.

I would double-check, if I were you...there are several areas where it can be turned on and off.

Yeah, VERY close! My jaw practically hit the floor when you mentioned West 7th and Randolph!! Ohhh yeahhh...the Lucky Foxx!! HA! Up the street my way more, it's not so bad...slowly deteriorates as you head down to West 7th. We were eyeing up a house on Canton a few blocks down off of West 7th...decided against it when our agent showed us the TIH inspection...too much major work needs doing. But, unfortunately, the houses in this neighborhood are too expensive for us, so we're browsing other neighborhoods, like the Como and Lake Phalen areas.

NE Minneapolis is actually pretty good. Im talking about Columbia Heights and not North Minneapolis (the true ghetto). We have an office in Burnsville and Edina as well, but Im not a big fan of driving through traffic.

Dont worry about the account, its not strictly for people in the business, but people that are interested in learning a few things as well!

I used to live near Como when I was in College. Actually off of Breda and Snelling, nice area really. Except for late August and the State Fair. Gets a bit too crowded and unless you have a garage, good luck parking the car.

Hot areas in Saint Paul are:

Como area,
Grand Ave and Summit (as usual)
Falcon Heights
Roseville is a great neighborhood too

I'd suggest taking the following security measures

1) Change All Password & Make Them Longer Too
2) Ask Any Other Admins To Change Passwords
3) Rename The Admincp
4) .htaccess You Admincp

They Must Have Gotten FTP Access To Do That To Your Index.php

I highly doubt they had FTP access. I looked through the logs and it shows them trying to run a script that gave them an error several times.
My password is rediculously long and weird with combinations of capitals, numbers and letters.
Im thinking it was an exploit of the php file.

Ahhh, thanks for clearing that up! You had me fearing for your safety...I'm glad you're not in North Minneapolis, then.

Ok, then, I will take another look around, thanks!:)

Yeah, that area doesn't look too bad...you're right about the State Fair...it's crazy! I attended the Fair for the first time this past summer. Fortunately, we don't have a vehicle to worry about, so we rely on Metro Transit, therefore parking isn't an issue.

Kinda chuckling about the Grand/Summit reference...REALLY pricey in that neighborhood! Thank you for the pointers!
