blank page with upgrade 3.6.7 PL1

I asked this at vB.com and received a fast reply but could not come up with a fix to my problem with an 3.6.7 upgrade from 3.6.5. I hope by asking here someone might have had the same problem and had a fix.

I upgrade my test forum with a backup from my live forum and than upgraded my test forum from 3.6.5 to 3.6.7 PL1 with no problems.( upgraded a forum2 then renamed it forum)
When I tried to upgrade my live forum by creating a second (forum2)with a backed up database. Everything worked find with that forum path (forum2/index.php). But when I renamed the forum2 to forum I receive blank pages an cmps and forum/index.php
I have cmps and vblogetin and some small template changes.

Can anyone help?

Even if it worked on my test forum and my forum2 on the live side?
Can you head me in the right direction on how increase my php?

I checked every folder and file and the files were uploaded.
I did fix it but not before starting with a fresh folder in my root and uploading everything one by one.
What I did find out is they were repairing cables down the street. A quick burp my of done it to a file. It works with no clue what happened.
