These are Moderator and Administrator crowns for forums.
Theres a screenshot of them attached.
Also, if your not sure how to use them, here are my markups for my forum, you will have to upload the crowns to your forums directory first though.

Yes, you just enter it in usergroup. It should say 'username html markup'

Nice, I like it. You should probably make your code compliant though - you're using deprecated tags.

<span style="color:#0066cc;"><img src="image.gif" /></span>
That's still not compliant. Compliant would be:
<span style="color:#0066cc;"><img src="image.gif" alt="" /></span>[/quote]
Oh, and technically, while it don't work, this is theoretically correct XHTML:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en" xml:lang="en">
<head>
<title>Title</title>
</head>
<body><p>
<img src="" alt=""></img></p>
</body>
</html>
(seriously, I validated it). So what he was doing was not 100% wrong. Oh, and the border tag is still valid in XHTML 1.0 Transitional.

Edit the image. Not sure how, you could always put the appropriate text on in sprite form or something.
These images were stolen from www.jagex.com
These images should but fail to show proper copyrights
to Jagex LTD.

Can you provide a link to your forum, because it's likely trying to retrieve an image from an area where the image doesn't exist, and it can likely be easily fixed.

Slit, upload the three files inside the "markupcrowns" file to your forums directory. I tried to upload the file "markupcrowns" the first time and ended up with the x that I believe your talking about. Hope this helps.
