Yes it is. We have a 2 forum section set up so that all females see and are able to post to the private section but no males can even see it. You have to require that the gender must be selected during registration and you can force your members to have to set it if all ready registered.

This works good, only problem we had was a few males using the who is online and following the link into the female section. Still working on stopping this if you allow registered members to see links.
