help, templates won't update with product overwrite

I'm writing a product, and have been breaking my head on all those needed templates, hooks, plugins, etc..
Finally when I think I"m abt to be done, it won't update the templates anymore when overwriting a product, or with uninstalling and re-installing :(
all that cache crap is so confusing :D

Please someone help me, and I'll pm him the xml I made, I have a nice product I want to share.

Well, I have the same problem, which is why I like doing manual template edits. If they are custom tempates, those wont overwrite either. Just revert them and they will go away.

I loaded it with a $ in front of the name -_-;
