Banner Management

OK so I need a banner management system other than the standard that comes with vB. I've tried phpAdsNew/OpenAds and it slows my forum down terribly. Any other suggestions?

I run phpadsnew on a forum with 1500 concurrent users without issue, page loads with a range of .10xxxxxx to .25xxxxxx, i would suspect a config issue or server issue.
