Image when getting pm

When recieveing a PM how do I make it so in the top left where it says your pms theres an image eg:"

Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 58. IMAGEHERE

[Where it says imagehere] Imagine all the image here is just 1 big block for an image

Where newpm.gif is your image. Just put that code wherever you'd like the image to be.
