do not require rules tick
ok basicly i was wondering how ican make it so in registration a user does not have to tick the box and agree to the rules
i kinda want to shorten the registration steps a little by taking out this page or having to tick the box

Add the word checked to the input line, like so in the template.

value="1" checked />

Go to your register.php and find:else
{
$show['coppa'] = false;
$templatename = 'register_rules';
}

Change the 'register_rules' to 'register'.

Find the code exactly. If you just searched register_rules, there are two more register_rules in register.php.

Are you sure you are editing this else
{
$show['coppa'] = false;
$templatename = 'register_rules';
}

as else
{
$show['coppa'] = false;
$templatename = 'register';
}

I visited the register2.php and it's ok? It's working now.

yeah it shows the reg form
BUT when you fill it in and submit it it says

You have chosen not to accept the forum rules, so registration can not continue.

Click here to return to the main forums page, or click the 'Back' button on your browser if you now want to agree with the forum rules.

Find:if (!$vbulletin->GPC['agree'])
{
eval(standard_error(fetch_error('register_not_agre ed', $vbulletin->options['forumhome'], $vbulletin->session->vars['sessionurl_q'])));
}

Change it as:/*if (!$vbulletin->GPC['agree'])
{
eval(standard_error(fetch_error('register_not_agre ed', $vbulletin->options['forumhome'], $vbulletin->session->vars['sessionurl_q'])));
}*/

There is a hack released here:

Remove 'agree to forum rules' step from registration (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=141858)

No file edits :)
