Launched this site - www.harrypottertalk.com - how do you like it?

As a fellow small-font-skin-designer, I say hooray for another site with small fonts! :D

The only thing that I can critique is that the logo is a bit too big. I think if you shrank the dude to about half the size he is now, it'd look a lot cleaner. Right now there's just a lot of blank space at the top of the page.

That site would give me a headache trying to read it after 15 mins.

I prefer light skins that are easy on the eyes so you dont have to strain to read things...

Other than that if you advertise it you may just be onto a winner especially with the new book out in roughly 8 weeks and the new film out this year as well. I do however think you need to lighten up the skin or make the font a little larger...

Yeah, I don't like dark skins but the theme demands a dark skin.

I am considering changing the font and the size... just looking for the correct font.

Absolutely, I hope I have not put you off because it really could be a good website...

If you take a peek at my site (in sig), I use smaller fonts for things like descriptions, and keep the standard size for forum links and relevant info. For me, it works out well. :)

Phill's right about advertising. That's a great domain name.

yeah i registered the name with the hope of reselling it, but didn't receive any offers (the highest was 50$)

so i decided to develop it instead. currently a friend of mine is taking care of the site. anyways i currently can't spend any money on advertising. just relying on link exchanges atm.
