I just installed "Yeti Sports 1.5" on my site (did it manually, for some reason it couldnt open the ZIP file). Everything works good. The game shows on the list, clicking on it allows me to play it, and it records the number of times played. But after I submit my score, it comes back with a message:
This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved.
All my other 9 games that came with the arcade are working fine and submit the score every time. I'm using ibProArcade v2.6.1+.
I do have vbAdvanced installed, but it has the arcade code on the start of it's index.php. All other add-ons that I have for my board are some that I did which just hook to newthread.php.
BTW: This is my first install of a game. Bad start... :(

do you log in using the "remember me" function ?
Maybe the game itself has a problem, please try another one

Yup, I use the remember me feature to keep me logged on always on my board.
I tried another Yeti game (Penguin Bashing 1.0) and the same problem happens.
Funny is that I see this game on Death and Taxes (http://www.dtguilds.com/forums/arcade.php), they have this very same Yeti game and it works fine. The only difference is that they run ibProArcade v2.5.8+.
For some reason I keep thinking that this problem is due the cheating protection. These Yeti games might not encrypt the scores...

re-download and re-install those games.
are they v32 or v33 games with integrated cheat-protection ?

I have no idea about the cheat protection. The ZIP file came with the SWF, a INI, and only one gif which made me go into Photoshop to generate the 20x20 one.
I would assume they don't have cheat protection at all, and thats what should be causing the problem.
Also, I had to install it manually, because for some reason the admin pannel says the ZIP file is invalid. I tried to unzip and re-zip them, same problem. So I did it manually and it works fine besides the scoring problem.
Browsing the forums I saw some people also complaining about some Yeti games showing this error message I mentioned. But I just don't get how come Death and Taxes (the link I posted on my post above) can have this same Yeti game. The only thing I can think of is the iBProArcade version.

ok, if it came along that way it seems not to be converted to submit its result in the way this arcade expects it.
Download your game from a site that provides correct games in TAR-format including a configuration-file and the two needed graphics...

I have not been able to get a V3 game to submit scores properly.
I have about 20 non V3 games and they all submit fine. But the 5 or 6 V3 games don't.
What is wrong?
Do V3 games work with ibProArcade v2.6.1+ which is what I have?
Thanks

yes, v3-games work well with ibProArcade if they are converted correctly and are converted/adapted in the way it is needed.
I guess your games are not ok themselve

Is there anything I have to do to convert a game or does the game maker do that?
Do I install V3 games differently?
Thanks

For reference, here's the solution to the problem I was having with Yeti Sports 1.5.
I just stol... *clear throat*... took the SWF from Death and Taxes website thinking mine was damaged or obsolete, and then I noticed their filename was yeti1_5shots.swf instead of yeti1_5shots1.swf as mine came on the ZIP file. So on the "gname" setting I corrected it and also renamed my own SWF to that (yeti1_5shots), renamed also both GIF files and it now works.

I am having the same trouble with Yeti 4 and gmaxskateboarding. It must have something to do with the way ibProArcade v2.6.1+ accepts scores.

I have recently downloaded a few games, and none of them submit the scores. How do I check what's wrong?
