Transliting a Mod to Arabic

Hi,

After I translate a modification's XML file to Arabic, What coding do I have to save it as?
I have tried many but they all turn up to be wired looking characters once I upload them
from the admincp plugin/product installing tool.

I would assume you need to use the same encoding specified in Languages&Phrases|Language Manager|Edit Settings|HTML Character Set .
