Please remove the splash page because no one likes those. I suggest replacing it with vBAdvanced.
You'll need to cut down on the forums. For example you don't need a "U Tube" forum.
Change the color of the text and links to white or a lighter color of gray.
I like the "Black Teal" style the best so I suggest making it the default. Actually you should find a style that isn't so graphic intensive.

Cut way down on forums.
I'd think of something besides VbA to put as the front page. With a name like that, make it something cool and offensive. I was expecting to go there and see some offensive stuff, but fell well short.
Good luck.
The name is misleading. I thought the forum would have contents along the lines of Something Awful (http://www.somethingawful.com/) but instead you've got subforums on fleamarkets and parenting. As it stands now, neither the forum or the skin fit the name.

Thank you all for your feedback. I am definitely going to review and redo the forums. Your comments are exactly what I was thinking while I was typing it. I just thought... which was my first problem.
As for the splash page... I am open to removing it (although I do like it) and putting something in its place. I don't want to use vBa this time.
Ntfu2: as far as something cool and offensive... can you send me an example? Also I am more than willing to pay for a custom job if this is something you do.
Thank you all for the feedback. I will update keeping your comments in mind.

Thank you all for your reviews. I have re worked the site and would like it very much if you would take a second look and offer your opinions.
The splash page is still there but only because I have no other alternative at the moment. I have ideas but no one to implement them even though I have offered money...

So... what exactly is a verbal douche? Also - you may want to consider at least opening a few forums for guest view. While it may increase initial sign ups, you lose out on search engine indexing (whats the point of vbSEO if you cant be indexed?) and lurkers - which contrary to popular belief - are valuable.
Style wise, I like a thinner forum myself, looks clean - from a general board owner to another, get at least one focus and FOCUS ON IT. I am still struggling to find that focus within my forums - and that is why I suffer, even with a moderate amount of monthly hits. With the broad scope of an E/N site, if you don't have at least a small niche area, and porn doesn't cut it any more - you will flare up initially with members, and then fade out.
Delete the "default style" from your selector and make sure you put the welcome headers on each skin you have.
Also a personal observation, I used to have 6 skins, I found that with the amount of work I was putting into the site, I was doing 6 times the work as I had to edit each style most of the time. I removed all styles and stuck with one that I liked best. It has been the best decision I have made to date.
Just my 2 cents

Thank you for the review... VerbalDouche has a couple different meaning but in general it stands it means "anything goes." It is not a Porn site by any stretch so I hope I am not giving off that vibe. I know some of the members so far, including me at the present time, have tits as an avatar. Yesterday it was Hitler eating waternellon. But certainly not porn.
The forums are all open to Guest view. On the Black Teal skin it just has the locks on there to say you are not registered. I have been meaning to change this so it does not give off the perception that it is closed for Guest View. Default will be gone tonight and I have been meaning to add welcome headers. That will happen tonight as well. As far as the other skins go... I am debating on keeping one or two but not all 4 simply for the same reasons you described... it is a beyotch updating them all!
Thank you for your input!

As soon as I find an alternative it is gone.

An alternative what? Just remove it altogether and point it right at the forum.
I can see why you want to keep the splash, the "prepare for the cleansing" countdown is pretty unique.
I see you changed around the forums. Now you've got the opposite problem -- an over-use of Ebonics. Remember Ebonics? Best to forget them and move on. Simplifying the forum names/descriptions into something eloquent (while staying true to the nature of the site) would be a good move.

Damn you all were saying side scroll and I was not catching what you were talking about. My res is 1280 x 800 and I never thought about checking the others. Will mess with it this evening.
Thanks!!
