To those who have installed Aerohead, I just wanted to inform you that I noticed a bug with the skin that affects the way birthdays and calendar events appear on the forumhome template. I have since fixed it and updated the skin archive with the latest .XML files. I recommend that you download the skin again and re-import the XML files.

very sharp skin. one of the best i have ever seen released here. few things of concern... it wouldnt work correctly w/ paul m's online users today. instead of the content going across the entire whats going on box it aligned right and only used like 20% of the page. i know thats a very popular mod.

the other concern i had as there is no remember me box. sometimes i get booted forcing me to log on again.

and last and i dont think this is a bug but when using add ons i had to put a <br/> under nav bar like w/ vbadvanced. i assuming what provides the spacing throught the rest of the site is the navbits. so if there is no navbits displayed the header runs into the body.

as you said, i updated my .xml file, but still the same problem of the calender, events, who has visited, and visitor trackers getting pushed to the left of the screen....:(

Make you you're overwriting the old .XML file with the new one. If you tried that and it still didn't work, then delete the skin from the admin cp and do a fresh import.

If you have no threads on your forum, the latest threads will show that error, instead. ;)

Oh don't worry I don't plan on using adsense on the site at all if possible. I have some other stuff to go in the top right corner but I want it not to be fluch against the top right corner like it is now.

I believe you need at least 8 threads before they show up as the script pulls the latest 8. You can always change the number by editing latestthreads.js in the /aero/misc/ directory.

Well, right now your board is off... Since the latest threads script pulls the latest 10 threads using RSS, it can't do that as the RSS feed has been turned off, too. I would turn your forum back on. :)

This is a nice style. Very easy to change the colors of and change to suit an upcoming site. I can easily offer various color schemes with simply changing the CSS.

Here is a bug fix. Change your aero/misc/latestthreads.php to have the following contents:

ctr = 0;

if (ctr == 10)

break;
}
}


Then people won't get Javascript errors on the forumhome page if they don't have 10 or more. It will still be limited to 10 threads, even if they want 50 in their external feed. If they have 0 threads, it just quits with no errors. They have have 500 it shows 10.

Did you upload the images? Make sure you read through the readme.txt file as there are some other steps needed to make this skin work properly.

i saw dat there is an 'images' folder in the root directory...i copied the files der too, bt still nthing changes.

It's a simple fix, really. Under your vBadvanced templates, edit "adv_portal."

Find this line:

Make sure you update your Main CSS with absolute URLs since vBadvanced and your forum are in two separate directories. So instead of aero/misc/nav.gif, it would be http://yourdomain.com/forums/aero/misc/nav.gif

I don't have the exact code, but if you search on vBulletin.org, you'll find a number of hacks that can do this.

You would need to enclose them within only one <div> but leave the .usrbit class intact. Also, make sure to add a <br /> after each line to keep them separated with a line break. These are the exact steps you should take:

The problem is caused by your four columns of smilies, but this can be fixed by making the post box narrower. Under "Stylevars," change your "Message Area Width" to 400px or so.

For some reason, when I upgraded to vBulletin 3.6.7 on my demo forum, it converted all URLS to absolute URLS. Thanks for notifying me about that. I've updated the .zip once more with the correct image paths.

There are three reasons as to why the latest threads script isn't displaying properly.

1) Your forum is offline when it should be online
2) Rhe RSS options have not yet been enabled
3) Your posts are all in private forums.

Check to see if your subcategories are set as child forums under Test. Also, make sure that Test is set to not act like a forum.

The script won't display posts that are in private forums.

I'm not sure what you did to your header, but whatever it was, it affected all of your skins. Check your vBulletin Options, product and plugins to see if anything might be causing the logo not to appear.

Yes, this skin is fully compatible with 3.6.7 PL1. Did you upload the /aero folder to your forum's root directory? If your forum is at http://www.domain.com/ then you need to upload your /aero folder to http://www.domain.com/aero/

I found LockeAG post about adding the Latest Post/Threads, it worked great except last line In FORUMHOME TEMPLATES > forumhome_forumbit_level2_post i had to change <td class="alt2">$forum[lastpostinfo]</td> to <td class="alt2" width="175">$forum[lastpostinfo]</td> to show up properly for formatting.

However, the texts are a bit on the small side, how can i make the post text a bit bigger? (using the main css options doesn't change anything except the logout text) :S

Edit: Solved by changing the CSS settings of first and second alternating colors

Also, I can't seem to get the latest thread working on the forumlisting (not that section on the left, that works, but the extra column after the forumname which links to the last post in that forum with the time)

Freshly installed and want to use it as a primary skin. Only problem is the categories don't line up to the right of the "latest threads" colum and such. They start below everything and thus leave a huge open space to the right.

Any ideas why this is happening. No changes have been made so far after the install.

Great skin, however I'm having problems. I have vBulletin version 3.6.5 and I recently installed vBadvanced. Things look fine except the links of the navbar are pointing to http://yoursite.com/ instead of http://yoursite.com/vBulletin/. So basically when I click on the User CP link in my vbAdanced page the URL is http://www.yoursite.com/usercp.php instead of http://www.yoursite.com/vBulletin/usercp.php. I have this installed at www.truckmountforums.com and was wondering how can i change Forums Online box bottom left to like Links and add other sites under a link section?

We would really love to see a 3.7 compatible version, a lot of the new profile pages and social groups pages break with the old Aerohead skin. Thanks!

You just use the html code for a link and it works.

I added the last post and remove the reply and thread count but now i am missing one of the column lines.
