Good Blogging Software?

I'm looking for something that can get me a decent, easilly customizable, and simple to use blog on my main page, or somewhere on the forum.

The main page new item sounds interesting...the 'Blog and Social Networking' headling...but it might be a while before that comes out. Is there anything around now that would be worth checking out? A quick site check didn't really reveal anything..

No, not really... most people use wordpress for their blogging needs and there is a bridge for the users so I'd go for that while you wait on vbulletin's official blog product.
