Hi, I would like to have 8 vBulletin boards, but to allow members to use the same login and password on all 8 boards. Is there a way to automatically have user accounts created across several vBulletin boards? I would also like user post counts to be added to from all 8 vBulletin boards.
I currently have one vBulletin board (www.5driver.com) with about 2000 members, so I would also like to have the current user accounts also activated across the 7 new vBulletin boards.
Your responses are greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Daniel.

First things first, do you have 8 vBulletin licenses?

Not yet, but I would like to know if what i want to do is possible before buying the additional 5 licenses and upgrading another 2 that I bought a couple of years ago.
Thanks, Daniel.

Yes, there is a way, but you might have to hire a coder to do the work.

Isn't there a hack or some software that I can buy that will allow this? I prefer not to hire a coder at this time.
Thanks, Daniel.

I can't believe that we are the first to request such integration. It seems to make sense that one would want to share user accounts across mutiple boards.
Cheers, Daniel.

So many people have requested it, and i cannot believe it hasnt yet been intergrated despite its demand. I to want to run multiple boards whilst sharing accounts, it looks like there is a mod coming out for invision power board which does this so unless the vb team can release something like this in one of its 'products' ill be switching software. If you can get a decent coder to do the work please send me a pm and i would be prepared to contribute to the cost for a copy of the mod.
That and it would make it easier to police problem members.... screw up on 1 site and ur banned on all the rest :-) at least within your own network of sites.
