This quick product will add FileFront video embedding into your vBulletin forum. Users will be able to click on the "FileFront Joystick" from the reply page or use tags to embed the video into their posts, similar to YouTube tags.
Notice: Currently, your users will have to search the "embed" field on the FileFront video page and search for the number that comes after the embed.swf?v= section. So for example, if the embed code contains embed.swf?v=105074 the user will have to post [filefront]105074 - this is because there is no corrolation between the URL of the video page and the embed code ID. Hopefully in future versions the user will be able to simply post the URL of the video page instead of using the embed code ID.
Install Instructions
Download and extract vb3-6-x-filefront_video.zip
From the AdminCP select "Manage Products" then import product-filefront-video-bbcode.xml
Upload filefront.gif to /images/editor/Other Information
I have provided this as a plugin for convenience. You could do something similar by creating your own custom BBcode, but hopefully some people find this easier.
This should work in most vBulletin versions that use the plugin system, but is only tested in the latest version, 3.6.5.
I plan to update this so that posting the video page URL in FileFront tags will also work, rather than using the embed ID. If anyone want's to do this or help with this, contact me.Screenshots
