Notice how there is a collumn on the right side with information like recent discussion. And when you click on "Debate Forums" to visit the forum, the collumn is still there. How can I do this?

Oh, it is. He said he custom coded it all. I'm asking if there's some way to "mimic" it I guess.

There are a number of ways. Search for right / left column mods here and/or look at vBadvanced...

Question about mods in general: If I installed something like the collumn mods, does it match your skin? And what if I installed it, and then LATER got a new skin. Would it change to match it? Same thing with vBadvanced.

Yes, I believe the mods adapt to your style. They don't change your CSS file.
