Header rewrite

Hi, i was wondering im in the process of designing my forum and a great idea that i wanted from the start is a user dock like such sites as mygamercard.net, xbox.com, and one site that uses vb also had a similar copy the site was mygamer.com and if you go here its at the top with login and avatar, even here at vb.org and i saw one code here that was a rewrite of vb.org but, it was to blah and also it wasnt as incorprerated. and what my idea was like this http://img108.imageshack.us/img108/1246/setog8.png with the theme chestnut by Allen, and if anyone chould make this work that whould be amazing news!!! :) thanks!
