Ok, I've just started up my own community which is steadily growing at a nice pace.

http://www.shensation.com

My problem is that I had a few complaints and ran a poll (http://www.shensation.com/showthread.php?t=616) and found out a few users experience lag when browsing. I currently host with www.surpasshosting.com and am looking to move.

I've just bought my own apartment so I can't afford to splash out a lot for a dedi, and I really don't want to bombard my users with ads to cover hosting costs as money isn't the reason I made the board. So I guess I need a reliable but moderately priced shared server, none of that cheap crap... but just a good reliable host.

Please don't just post a host because you're reselling it, or because you get affiliation money. I would prefer if you posted one you use/have had experience with.

it depend on the deal you actually have with your host.. are you able to break the deal, or you have to pay the whole year anyway ?!

there is a lot of other good hosts where to put your forum... you do not have a big community yet, and below 5000 members 50 online people all the time, you do not have the need for a specific kind of server...

you can read my siggy, or search this forum for already existing host reviews...
