Hi,
The New Posts link in the VB navbar shows new posts from all of the forums. My board represents several geographical regions and users have requested a New Posts link that works for their forum/category only. I was playing around with a url that would give this and came up with this format:
http://www.mysite.com/forum/search.php?f=14&do=getnew
Where the f= gives the forum number. This seems to work fine. Now I just need to get it linked in the template somewhere/somehow for every forum/category. I'm very inexperienced with hacking the templates so am requesting some help from someone here.:p
