I remember a hack by Amykhar that seperated the forum into two different sections.

Is that similar to what is done here with vb.org and the forums/mods/articles sections or is it something different?

I don't see a hack anywhere showing what was done here.

What I'm trying to do is seperate my forum into different sections so that my forum, which encompasses several things under one umbrella that are related, but not related, can be seperate.

For instance it's an outdoors site.

I want to have seperate Hunting and Fishing Sections and maybe another section for outdoors/camping. That way, the hunters don't have to scroll all the way down to get to their hunting forums. Or those only interested in fishing don't have to see the hunting related sections.

But many of them would be interested in both topics, so I want to make it easy enough for them to move back and forth...

Thanks.

A search would reveal heaps of threads on this topic. Set the display order to "0".

okay, searched and found absolutely nothing.

I went through the hacks and templates sections post by post.

Why can I not find it?

Also, I don't see anywhere that I have an option to set display order to 0.

Try this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=143032And the answer I gave is a post in that thread. Apparently it's not that simple. At least according to the post above yours. Either it's not what the OP was after, or it's so simple it makes no sense. :p
