When you set the vB Version at newthread.php, it defaults back to 3.6.5 when submitted and you have to edit the modification to make it a different version.

I just tested it by creating one set to 3.6.0 and it worked fine for me.

When you initially create a new hack, the 'options' like supported and version don't take. It's been that way (for me anyway) for as long as I've been posting hacks here. You always have to edit after you post.

There's a 2 submit buttons. One for the hack options and one for the thread details. Each is independant of the other.

I don't know what you two are referring to here - when you create a new thread (in the mods area), options like supported are not available. All you can set is the prefix and vb version, and both of those are saved as set.

For clarification, I was referring to when editing a thread.

For clarification, I was referring to when editing a thread.Ok. The OP was however referring to the creation of a new thread. :)

:S How about 3.6.x? It's happened to me twice.

Ah, I found out what causes it. If you press 'Preview Post' it will reset the vB Version.
