This is another necessary tool which allows to see the IP address us of the subject or also you can see the hostname of domain which you wish to look for?

Tools
Vbulletin.org (Button)
Preview Home (Button)
Whois Online (Button)
Whois Ip (Button)

And under that shows your IP address to you

Installation Instructions:

*Unzip Whois Ip package.
*Open and edit file (whois_ip_config.php)

Find:
echo '<input type="button" value="&nbsp;&nbsp;Preview Home&nbsp;&nbsp;" onClick="window.location=\'/forums/index.php\'" class="black">';

Edit: (if it is necessary) *forums*
/forums/index.php

Save...


Find:
echo '<input type="button" value="&nbsp;&nbsp;Whois Online&nbsp;&nbsp;" onClick="window.location=\'/forums/online.php\'" class="black">';

Save...

Upload the contents of the 'upload' folder to your forum root.

Options: (AdminCP > vBulletin Options >Whois Ip Address)

*Search Whois IP Addresses

Ok, I did receive a error when looking up a IP... Is there a fix for this?

I have this installed and when I try to use it I get this message Getting Whois info for (whatever IP I am trying to trace)

but then it never goes beyond that to actually give me the information. What do I need to do to actually SEE the WHOIS information??
