Dear Folks,
I'm going to be pushing my server live, I'm in testing now with around 20 people, and I am very nervous about database backups. I have a vps and have set up a cron task to dump a backup in my site root every 24 hours.
I've seen scripts that will email databases (but the site database will quickly be too big to email). Is there another way to autmatically send the database to another secure server.
What are all of you doing as your best practices regarding database backup?
