Using search to find filenames?

Is there a specific string I need to use to search for posts that contain ".gif"?

I tried searching just "gif" and ".gif" but no results. And obviously there ARE posts that have .gif's posted.

The only way I know how to do it is to use Google's Advanced Search (http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en). Just search for gif on whatever domain you need. :up:

eta: or use this in a standard google search: gif site:domain.com
