I want to make sure its ok to delete the "Powered by vBulletin® Version 3.6.4" at the bottom of my forum.
And to Keep "Copyright ©2000 - 2007, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd."
A friend did this change for me....I want to make sure he didn't infringe on something.

I'm afraid not, from my interpretation.

The only thing you can remove without paying the branding-free fee is the version number.

Ok then. I'm not sure what VBulletin Discussion Board I was reading last week, when I did a quick step by step search for the "Powered by vBulletin? Version 3.6.5" and removed it, because I understood that thread to say as long as I left "Copyright ?2000 - 2007, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. " I'd be ok.
Anyway. Can you give me a quick step-bye-step on putting it back??? Where am I able to go in, search it, and add it back?
Thanks again!

You can remove the "Powered by vBulletin" that appears at the top of your browser and the version number in the footer. Rest remains intact.

In the style manager, go to the footer template, and click view original. You can search that to find out where it was originally.

The minimum copyright in the footer without the Branding Free option is:
