I'm looking too. I'd like to provide a business directory where members can add/edit/delete their business info. Also, it would be ideal if it could start/link to a thread with a poll where members can write a business review and rate the business.

I am also interested in integrating a business directory for Vbulletin.

Any one?It appears no one has. :(

A business directory is very high on my list. To save bucks I am considering integrating a third party BD application (http://www.edirectory.com/ is a possibility). I'd rather have a fully intergrated/native VB hack. I'm particularly interested in having user feedback on business being held as part of the standard VB database so it participates in searchs, etc. I am planning on charging for access, so a payment system needs to be part of it.

Having some serious partners in this endeavor would be great! It's not going to be cheap to either integrate a 3rd party or hire a developer to build one. I imagine we are talking Thousands of dollars (let me know if you think it can be done for less!). So let me know if you're interested and maybe we can put together a consortium.

I need one too!

The big deal for me is the geographic LISTING

USA (states / cities)
Worldwide - Countries (or continents) cites..

Anything new come out?

Can a Wiki plug in be customized to produce these sorts of lists?

Thanks in advance VB comrades!

No Probs!

Would still like to see a dedicated business directory for VB.

Have some cash waiting for anyone who can deliver it.

I could really go for nice alphabetical order 'front page list" for a directory

And then further sub pages also alphabetically ordered

NuWiki does a nice front page list in alphabetical order - after that things can get further subdivided into "books" but I don't know how those get laid out.... (must try it..)

cougar networks - how have you configured VBFE to organize your directory? (I bought that a few days ago... havent gotten going with it yet...)

I am still playing with it.

I made a few business categories, made some custom fields and added a few businesses.

Then I had a re-think, mover things around and broke it!

Still trying to get it right

there's a links and downloads manager mod (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=119041&highlight=links+downloads) on here and over at vbadvanced they also have some sort of mod for links (http://www.vbadvanced.com/products.php?do=productinfo&productid=2).

Neither suit me but they may well suit you.

Keep us informed on your progress please! I'm basically looking for a very minimal directory.

Good Luck

Close but for me.. no cigar..

Thanks anyway!

I think I will have to revisit NuWiki and study up on what "books" do..

They may hold the key..

Well VBFreelancer didnt work out at all for me..

Spoke to edirectory, but they seem to want to customize everything for you and were a little cagey about the costs.. Also I didn't find their demo sites operated very fast so that was a serous worry..

VBAdvanced's abcdefg list at the top of the page - doesn't do it for me..

try Gar's with it's link mod add-on.
Check the Demo (http://forum.vbulletinsetup.com/f42/) here.
