could be a number of things.... usergroup permissions, forum permissions, content permissions... What exactly are they trying to view and does that group have rights to view it?

theyre just getting this when they log in.

Can't answer that without knowing what you're running on your board...

If is only certain members, start with determining what they all have in common.
