new reply notice

I am searching for a hack like SMF. What does the hack do. When you are replying a thread and you will send it to your forum, but meanwill someone else has replyed, then you get a notice that someone has replyed during your message, do you want to see the reply of the other user or do you want to send your post. Is there also a hack for vbulletin?
