hiding a forum + sub forums

hey is it possible to have a public accessible forum (for registered users) but even they dont see it on the board index

and it is only accesible via a link I place somewhere.

The reason I wana do this is cos I want to make sections for different clubs - each on a seperate page, but at the same time I dont want to restrict viewing of the forums to anyone

anyone know how? :confused:

You can set that from the forum permissions section in your AdminCP.

No problem, it is just one of those little tricks we like to use to show that we know a little bit more. ;)

On the same note, is there a way to restrict by the user's age? If I do not want users under 18 to view a specific forum, how can I modify my setting so do so?
