Viewable on the Memberlist

All my forum users have "Registered Users" set for their Primary Usergroup. I then set extra permissions by adding them to Additional Usergroups.

The "Registered Users" Usergroup has 'Viewable on the Memberlist' set to 'No'. I have tried setting the other Usergroups to 'Yes' for this but no one is showing up on the Memberlist. It appears that the memberlist.php only looks at the Primary Usergroups.

Does anyone know what I could change in the memberlist.php to have it look at the Primary and Addition Usergroups?

It is an already reported "bug" that will be fixed in 3.6.6, if you enable a new introduced option. But activating this would probably have a negative impact on performance: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/bugs36.php?do=view&bugid=1501
