Post Read Status?

Hey hey, I was just wondering how does vBulletin 3.6 determine if a user has read a post. Is there a function somewhere that defines the post[statusicon] variable?

Can somebody please help me with this? I have tried searching though the forums and the internet and haven't been able to find what I am looking for.

It will depend on the Post Read Marking type you have selected in:

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Thread/Forum Read Marking Type
