Images Broken after Directory Move?

I just changed my directory from being mydomain.com/forums to mydomain.com/.
Now, for some strange reason, about 50% of the images on my website, including the header image, and borders etc have just dissapeared.
I have configured the url's correctly both via the Style manager settings and through Vbadvanced aswell as the index.php and config.php files to no avail.
Can anyone please help me?

is the image folder moved to the correct directory also? If you've moved it to the /home/yoursite/ directory, try making an "images" folder there. The same thing happened with an affiliates site of ours.
