How do you make a .gif file? I mean, if I want to make an image move by combining images, how would I save all the images as one file (.gif)

Sorry, this is the only place I knew to ask. And how would I regulate time between image switches?

I still cant figure it out. Where do I download this? So basically I'll have to insert some number of images, specify how long I want between switches, then save it as a .gif?
