Recently I've noticed an issue when I try to do anything on our forum.

After I post, after I send a PM, delete a PM, delete a post, delete a thread, anything...it just takes me to a page that says the following:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems

More information

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

What would be causing this?

I did notice that if I make a post that's going to be automerged (just like on this web site), it will take me back to the post. Otherwise, it won't.

Any ideas?

Have you tried closing IE and then reopening it to try to get rid of the problem? Of course, the best solution is to move to firefox. :D

But, I would try closing/reopening the browser. If that doesn't work, I'd try deleting my site cookies and cache.

i ran ff for years...only recently moved back because i was tired of not seeing everything on a page or having the page show up wrong due to formatting not following over to firefox.

Seems that restarting takes care of it...for a while at least....not sure what could be causing it?
