I am looking for a company to host our forum. We have about 20,000 members, 1.1million posts, and around 500 max people online.

Our current host is hostway.com and I hate them with a passion. They are WORTHLESS! Most of the time I have to tell them what to fix, or what is going on, and I don't know squat about this stuff.

Is there a hosting company that specializes in large forums? Who's staff is knowledgable, and can keep my forum from crashing once weekly? I want as little involvement as possible with the backend.

Please, Please, Please contact me with suggestions.

You can email me at webmaster@apriliaforum.com, or post a reply here.

Thanks

<div align="center">I'll join in too..I have APLUS.NET and they used to be soo good, but they are just not good anymore is a nice way to say it.. In a week and a half 2 hard drives failed, they refused to help me migrate the data(forum files) and might charge me for the hard drives on top of it.
I think I need to find a good server company.
I have 1400 members, 850,000 posts, 120-150 members daily</div>

i would personally recommand none of the webhost on the net actually... because none is built to offer support on the content of your website.

the best deal you will even have is to find a webmaster that will manage both your website and your webhost. someone who will do the administration job on your forum, and will take care that your server is fullly-answering for your needs...

the webhosts are not the one to manage your web-content.. they are the ground for it.

asmallorange is a good host and their help is second to none, but they only good for small sites - i had a vps with them and it was slow as anything and after a while i had to get a dedicated.
