Where have they gone?

I am missing a number of mods, like vBonjour etc. Where have they gone?

they were removed by it's creator

But why?
I can understand a creator wants to quit with it, but what about the people who have those mods installed? The topics etc were very helpfull and now they are left in the dark.
Not only the mod is gone, but all replies from members too.
