HELP! No new member notification OR validation email for new users!!

Not sure what's going on...
I am no longer getting any emails in my inbox for the notificatins of new members (always had it before), and now when someone registers I get nothing! Also, the members are to be validated through their email (to ensure REAL email addys) and they are nto even getting a validation email to activate their account/s.

Anyone know what could have caused this?? The email addy in my ACP for User Registrations notification is right and has not been changed, so I'm little confused on how to fix this. :(

Please start by diagnosing the email functions:

AdminCP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Email

Ok.. that came up with no results.. so is that good??

Help Results
The mailing function returned an error while trying to send the mail.
Check your mail server to ensure it is configured correctly to allow PHP to send mail from it. You should also check your mail server's error log for more diagnostic information.


What exactly does that mean ??

You will need to contact your host and request that they check the mail server logfiles.
