PM notification when reputation points are received

it is kind of useless function when no one knows where did he get reputation points..and for what...

a pm notification will however not only take the members attention..but also encouragae them to use that system,...

something like

you have received 10 reputation points for the foolowing post....and then the remarks given....

any body interested in doing this??

this is your personal opinion, don't forget that if this feature is integrated to vBulletin is because it was requested by tons of admins.

by dead i meant not used much.......(vb.org is an example)...........:D

this is how i look at it.(BTW i love the reputation system)
you get a reputatiom......you dont know when...who...and why.....

paul-M (one of my favourite hackers) made a great hack to show the reputations given and the comments in your profile........thats good....but also with no notification....

a pm send to inform you about the reputation given will make people use it..both to get and to give reputations,,,,,,,,first to let others know they are appreciated....and second to know who appreciate their work when they get a reputation........

did you by chance thought about making it.....:)

hey, good to bump it up, i mostly forgot about this request.. :)

as i'm actually working on my own Points System to be released in less than a day, i will try to see if i can handle that request in the next days... sorry if i suggested to do the job in no time, but i had a heavy election period here, and my sites required to be managed more than the usual...

hmm i used to check this thread every day...how the hell did i miss your answer......and oh...your point system is no longer there....so...:confused:
