Yes, it makes it really long, but a big majority of the post at my forum are lengthy. We try to emphasize lengthy post in general.

However, you can always change the size of the adsense.

I just checked out your site to see how this is implemented, and I don't agree with your statement or we have very different opinions. You said you are anal about the adsense implementation and that this integrates well. Your site is not aesthetically pleasing. You have ads wherever you can place them. I would never join a site that looked as yours does. It actually appears that it is JUST up for creating profits.

You should also check the vbtags image as it is a red x and you have java errors running rampant on your pages.

Gonna have to agree with Rich, the aesthetics of that site are awful. Just browsing around for a minute made me cringe a few times. Reminds me of loud obnoxious car salespeople.

I'm not saying you haven't poured a lot of time and effort into it because you have and it shows. But I can't see how there can be a sense of 'community' there. But then again, that site is geared towards people looking to make money so maybe they can sympathize with you and tolerate the ads and the design?

I have put the code under the:

<!-- message -->
<div id="post_message_$post[postid]">$post[message]</div>
<!-- / message -->

Not

<div>$post[icqicon] $post[aimicon] $post[msnicon] $post[yahooicon] $post[skypeicon]</div>
</div>

And it's working like a charm. I have vBulletin skin developed by: eXtremepixels
Powered by vBulletin? Version 3.6.7

I really want to offer constructive criticism here but I'm concerned based on some of the posts above that you won't listen. I'll give some anyway:

The way it creates huge gaps in between paragraphs in the posts looks bad, and brushing it off by saying "my forum tends to have long posts anyway" is no real answer - and it's not accurate either, I saw many posts that looked odd. I read through several threads on your forum and I cannot believe that no one else considers this to be a problem.

Some of the javascript errors appear to have been fixed but XHTML markup is way off, with incorrectly nested tags and other issues - probably the root cause of the above issue. If you'd take some time to hunt these issues down and fix them instead of getting mad at folks here you'd probably have a popular hack on your hands, the concept is a good one.

Did you try adding the code into postbit instead of postbit_legacy cause this just worked for me. I am running 3.6.8.
