Different font colors for forum categories?

on my forum homepage, i would like to have different colored fonts for my forum categories. can someone please tell me how to do this? or different backgrounds like this forum here:

To change the font color is easy to have diff backgrounds for the catagories "no clue"


To change font color.

admin cp ==> Forums & Moderators ==> Forum Manager ==> Edit Forum ==> Put the code below in the title.

Replacing red with whatever color you would like to use.
