install issue

i'm getting an interesting error...

when trying the mass install it gives this error...

/path/to/root/site.com/arcade/tar is write-protected. Please change CHMOD to 0777 via FTP.

the issue is...the arcade is at /path/to/root/site.com/forum/arcade....

it works fine doing a manual install of each game...so why is the mass install looking for a different directory??

sometimes when mass install there is a bad file that will do that .if you download one of those 500 to 2000 games packs there a good chance that a few are bad.

The mass install has never worked for me. I just do them one by one, it takes forever!! But I find that I have less issues that way.

Yeah I have found that too. One bad file and everything is messed up.

usually with the bad file though it will stop when it gets to that file (as in all the ones above it are installed)...at least that's what usually happens for me...though that isn't the case this time...

i installed all the games and every single one of them installed manually just fine...so it wasn't because one of them was corrupt...

possibly a bug with the new version?

yes, the mass-installer is not adapted to the new changes of the TAR-installer, I really forgot that.

Already did a fix for this, coming soon ...
